Safety Site Manager
Location: Garden City, ID
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (6:00 AM-4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $55-$60 per hour
Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Site Manager for a project based in Garden City, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within construction and/or industrial environments and will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Director in overseeing and implementing company safety processes at the job site.
- Manage injury response, incident investigations, reporting, and communication efforts.
- Develop, implement, and manage company safety programs and policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities on-site.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel on safety best practices.
- Partner with project managers and leadership teams to strengthen the organization's safety culture.
- Collaborate with customers and general contractors to ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures.
- Deliver site-specific safety training and educational programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and assist in developing corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety performance.
- Schedule, track, and maintain required safety training and certifications.
- Serve as the company representative for environmental compliance matters and regulatory agency interactions.
Qualifications
Required Certifications & Training
- CHST (BCSP) Certification required.
- OSHA 510 Certification required.
- First Aid, CPR, AED, Narcan, and Bloodborne Pathogens training.
- Emergency Procedures training.
- NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience and competency.
- Mental Health First Aid Training.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10-Hour certification within 30 days of project start if required.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of construction, maintenance, safety, or operations experience.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing and delivering safety training and presentations.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
